Provider Training ACIS 2018 Implementing Quality Standards – NSW, Sydney - Members: $200 plus GST | Non Members: $400 plus GST

The aim is to assist providers to gain an in-depth understanding of the
ACIS 2018 quality framework program and what it might mean for their organisation.

This one (1) day classroom training offers an opportunity to explore and discuss all components of the framework within the context of an organisation, supported by case studies and workplace scenarios.

This training is delivered by a Subject Matter Expert with knowledge and skills that are relevant to the topics being taught.

Objective of the sessions

To ensure that Service Providers and their staff have the essential knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality service to each participant and to work effectively in their role.

Who should participate

All Australian attendant care service providers from senior management to coordinators and other staff.

Learning Outcomes

At the completion of this session you should be able to:

  • Recall the background to ACIA Scheme and Standard

  • Understand the guiding principles and the auditor’s perspective

  • Identify the detailed requirements for each ACIS core module

  • Distinguish the key elements including:

    • Corporate Governance

    • Clinical Governance

    • Quality management

  • Understand the steps to the certification process

  • Prepare for and manage onsite audits and types of evidence you may consider presenting
