This foundation level training will give attendees a basic introduction to Clinical Governance and Risk.
Attendees will be introduced to the importance of clinical governance within the community sector.

Objective of the sessions

The aim of this session is to provide you with an understanding of the importance of Clinical Governance in the community sector and how to apply them to your organisation.

Who should participate

This training is intended for all level of managers, service coordination staff and anyone responsible for supervision or management of clinical services in Community.

At the completion of this session you should be able to:

    • Understand the aim and importance of clinical governance and risk in the community sector
    • Apply your learnings into creating opportunities to improve accountability and ensuring quality care and services are delivered
    • Transfer your knowledge into ways of managing and preventing incidents, risks and complaints in the clinical setting
